Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of the SoftwareBay marketplace, which allows European sellers to publish digital software and buyers to purchase them via electronic payment.

Opening an account requires legal age and full acceptance of these Terms. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and any activity under your account.

SoftwareBay acts as an intermediary between seller and buyer. The sale contract is concluded directly between the two parties, while SoftwareBay provides publishing, payment, download and support tools.

• Own all rights to uploaded content.
• Provide truthful and non-misleading descriptions.
• Ensure the software complies with applicable laws.
• Respond to support tickets within 72 business hours.

SoftwareBay keeps a 12% commission on every transaction, in addition to Stripe fees. Full details are available on the Fees page.

SoftwareBay is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of purchased software. Total liability is in any case limited to the amount actually paid for the single transaction.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. The exclusive court of jurisdiction is Milan, save for mandatory consumer rights.
