The data controller is SoftwareBay, the European marketplace for digital software. For any request about the processing of your personal data, please open a ticket from the Support page.

• Account data: email, username, display name, language.
• Payment data: handled directly by Stripe, not stored on our servers.
• Usage data: IP, user-agent, download logs for fraud-prevention and audit purposes.
• Uploaded content: ZIP files, product descriptions, reviews, support messages.

We process data based on the performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR), legal tax obligations (6.1.c), legitimate interest in platform security (6.1.f), and consent for non-essential cookies (6.1.a).

Account and transaction data are retained up to 10 years for EU tax obligations. Technical logs are retained for 12 months.

You can exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to us via the Support panel.

SoftwareBay operates on European infrastructure. Any non-EU sub-processors are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
